What makes Course King different than other web development agencies?

Most agencies start with a "starter site" and then charge you up to USD $10 000 or more and then charge you $300-600+/month for hosting when you've just begin selling your course and only have a few members, and often have other hidden fees and "set up" fees that aren't made aware to you until after your purchase.

Course King offers a simple and easy monthly subscription that gives you access to hosting, premade templates, automations, pro plugins, support, and a complete ready-to-go customizable starter site. Unlike most agencies, we allow you to work on your site yourself or optionally hire us to do it. Our customizable starter site allows us to offer our services at a fraction of the cost of the other agencies.

We also don't use the very expensive and inflexible services such as Keap (aka Infusionsoft) and ActiveCampaign, but instead use a tightly-integrated WordPress-only CRM that has a much higher level of integration into your site and allowing you to do at lot of things that you can't do with external third-party CRMs.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes, if you already have your domain name, we can use it. If your site is new, or you want to move to another domain name, we can help you purchase and set up another domain.

Yes, in order to receive all the features that come with your membership, your site must be hosted with Course King.

Do I have to use the Site Template or your theme?

No, you don't have to use it. If you already have a website and theme, then we can merge our automations and other features into your existing website.

I'm using other plugins (LifterLMS, TutorLMS, etc.) on my site for my courses, can I still use Course King?

In order to offer the most complete and superior product for our clients, we currently only support LearnDash. Instead we can help you move away from your existing eLearning/LMS (learning management system) plugin, which will result in easier-to-maintain websites that are faster and much more economical to operate.

I already have a license for a plugin you offer; do I have to use your license?

If you're hosted with Course King then you area free to use your own license to any of your plugins.

Can I add memberships/courses to my existing site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if your membership site is hosted with Course King. If you already have your site and courses set up, you can merge our pre-loaded templates, automations, emails, etc. into your existing site. We can help you do that.

Can I have a site without courses or memberships?

Yes, you can. You can have your site however you'd like. You don't need to use all or anything that we provide if you don't want.

We can convert your site from one of those over to a WP-based CRM, just select the "Move My Existing Site Over To Course King" product.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we are unavailable for free 1-on-1 video calls at the moment. 30-minute video calls are only available to our subscribers.

Yes, Michelle is available for any number of miscellaneous tasks such as, but not limited to: updating course or page content, customer support, and any other task you might need that can't already be purchased as an add-on. You can hire a virtual assistant for as little as $60/week.

I cancelled my membership; how to do I reactive my membership?

Accepted Answer

If you've cancelled your membership, it's status is changed to "Pending Cancellation", then when your next renewal date arrives your status changes to "Cancelled". You can activate your membership as long as your membership's status is "Pending Cancellation" and not "Cancelled".

To reactivate your membership: visit your Account page → Subscriptions → click on the "All-in-1 Membership WordPress Package subscription → click on "Cancel".

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Yes, but you will lose your hosting, the licenses to the pro plugins, our support, and the ability to hire us to work on your site. If you don't have another web host to move your site after your membership is cancelled, you will lose your site and your members won't be able to login or access your site any more.

To cancel your membership: visit your Account page → Subscriptions → click on the "All-in-1 Membership WordPress Package subscription → click on "Cancel". Upon cancelling your membership its status is changed to "Pending Cancellation", then when your next renewal date arrives your status changes to "Cancelled".

Can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Your All-in-1 membership is refundable within the first 30 days of purchase. Any purchased add-ons are non-refundable after we've completed them, or 75% refundable if we've already begun working on them.
